Worthy Brief - 12/12/2024
Friend, you're His Masterpiece!
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Last week, a banana along with duct tape sold as a piece of art at Sotheby's auction house for an unbelievable $6.2 million! It’s hard to wrap your head around how much money people spend on art like that.
Around the world, millions of dollars are spent on art, with some pieces considered priceless. But have you ever wondered what truly makes a masterpiece? It’s not about the "what"—it’s about the "who." A master creates a masterpiece.
There's a Master at work on you. Your life is a priceless work of art in the Lord’s hand. God's masterful artistry, His perfect "touch", is painting, sculpting your life day by day to create the masterpiece He envisions you to be. Every stroke of the brush, every strike of the chisel, places color, renders shape to your individual identity in Him. You can trust His craftsmanship, rely on His artistry, because not only is He the consummate Master Artist, but He loves His works.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us, "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works." God’s artistry isn’t just about you being His masterpiece; it’s also about you becoming an artist in your own right—living a life filled with good works that reflect His work in you.
Think about it: the Master Artist, who created galaxies and sunsets, is shaping you. His work is alive, breathing, and eternal. While the world may marvel at multi-million-dollar art, the Lord’s work in you is infinitely more valuable—priceless in both this world and the one to come.
Friend, so, embrace the process. Trust the Artist. You are His masterpiece in the making, created to reflect the beauty and greatness of the Master Himself. And when His work is complete, it will be celebrated and treasured for eternity. You are deeply valued—both now and forever.
Your family in the Lord with much agape love,
George, Baht Rivka, Obadiah and Elianna
